Wendy's Winter Workout, February 2021

During "Lockdown 3", Wendy ran 28km per week in the 28 days of February, raising £680 for SMART.

Advent Calendar of Christmas Carols & Songs December 2020

During December 2020, members and supporters of SMART recorded their favourite Christmas carols and songs which were released every day during Advent.

#RosieRides2020

In the summer of 2020 Rosie Taylor was due to cycle 100 miles as part of Ride London. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was cancelled. Instead, Rosie cycled 437 miles around her local area, raising £650 for SMART!

Latitude Festival July 2019

70 members of SMART formed "SMART Sinfonia" to play an eclectic set on the Waterfont Stage at 11am on Sunday 21st July 2019.

Christmas Carols at Suffolk Youth Orchestra Concert, December 2018

A small group of members had great fun rehearsing Christmas Carols during the afternoon and then played as the audience arrived for a SYM concert at Northgate. A retiring collection was made for SMART.

Trustees attended the SYO Prom to promote SMART. It was a great evening, SYO performed extremely well with Philip Shaw conducting. The trustees engaged with audience members to explain the purposes of SMART.

PHILIP SHAW VALEDICTORY CONCERT DECEMBER 2017

After 31 years of dedicated service to the music education of young people in Suffolk, Philip Shaw, Head of Suffolk's County Music, retired. 74 past members of Suffolk Youth Music ensembles came together to perform in a Valedictory Concert to mark Philip's retirement. From this event, SMART was formed.
